One of the most popular brands in the consumer electronic market today is Apple. The American multinational technology company was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne back in 1976. Since that time, the 'Apple' brand has become associated with quality, user-friendly devices that demonstrate the very best in innovation. The types of hardware product that have made Apple famous include the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad, but Apple is also known for the range of software they have manufactured such as iCloud, iTunes, Safari and iLife.

Apple's range of products has successfully kept customers happy for years, and the organisation now enjoys the benefits of the brand loyalty they have managed to build and maintain. As part of this loyalty, many customers constantly upgrade their devices - ensuring they have the most up to date product that their budget allows. Through the sale of old devices, (such as the 'iPad Air') new technology becomes more affordable. If you are looking to sell your old iPad Air, OnRecycle can help.

What We Do

We have spent years working with some of the world's largest online recyclers; building and maintaining relationships to give our customers the best price possible for their iPad Air. We know how time-consuming and frustrating it can be when trying to find a suitable buyer for the iPad Air, and that customers want a one-stop shop where they can find the information quickly and easily. Working with the recyclers, OnRecycle have created the perfect solution: a system where - with just a few clicks - you can find the perfect buyer for your iPad Air.

The OnRecycle System

When you have made the decision to sell your iPad Air, log onto the OnRecycle website to start searching for a buyer. In one of the search bars at the top of each page, enter the details of the product you are selling (in this case the iPad Air) and a list of related products will appear. Click on the iPad Air that matches the model you are selling, and you will be taken to a new screen.

At this stage, we need to know some more specific details about your device. Tell us the version of the iPad Air you are selling (either 16, 32, 64 or 128 GB) and the condition that it is in. Do not worry if your iPad Air is broken, there are still likely to be recyclers willing to pay a fantastic price for the device.

Once you have provided us with these details, your list is ready. When the screen refreshes, you will see a table. This is a list of recyclers who want to buy your iPad Air from you, and the prices that they are willing to pay (as well as some other data). You are now free to choose the recycler that best suits your needs. Before you do, however, we suggest that you pay consideration to a couple of factors.

The reputation of the recycler should be considered. Have you heard of the company you are thinking about selling your iPad Air to? The 'user rating' column within the table brings up information relating to how many complaints the recyclers have had, per 100 orders. The companies with the highest number of stars are the ones who have less complaints and, therefore, the ones you can expect to have a better sales experience with. If you want to read more about the types of experiences other customers have had, click on the 'view reviews' link that can be found below the ratings.

In addition to the recycler's reputation, we also suggest that you consider the price they are willing to pay, and the way in which payment will be made. This can be seen by viewing the 'price,' 'payment period' and 'payment methods' columns; returning the data that helps you learn how much you will receive, and when it will come in. Price is likely to play a big part in your decision, and we therefore suggest that this be considered when looking at who to sell to.

When you have chosen a recycler, you are ready to sell. Click on the 'sell now' button on the right-hand side of the table, and you will be taken through the remaining steps. Many of the sales that are made can be done through the OnReycle system. We strongly advise selling through OnRecycle, as this will give you access to our guidance and advice throughout the process. Furthermore, you can benefit by providing details through a secure payment method.

Once you have sold your device, you can start shopping around for your next one! Read our review of the iPad Air so you have something to compare your next purchase with.

iPad Air

The iPad Air was released in 2013 and has dimensions of 240 x 169.5 x 7.5 millimetres. This, coupled with the fact that it weighs just 469 grams, gives it the definition of being an 'Air' product as it is incredibly light to carry and comfortable to hold.

The screen has an LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, which measures 9.7 inches and is scratch-resistant. The pixel rating is 1536 x 2048 - particularly effective when browsing the internet, watching movies and playing games. The pixel rating also displays good videos and photographs that have been taken directly from the iPad Air's 5 megapixel camera and 1.2 megapixel secondary lens.

The iPad Air can be purchased as either a 16, 32, 64 or 128GB model and each one comes complete with iOS 7 software. This can be upgraded to 10.3. The device plays MP3 and MP4 files, and has up to 10 hours of talk time (multimedia). The iPad Air can be purchased in either space grey or silver, which give it a futuristic, stylish appearance.
