Founded in 1976, Apple have become one of the leading brands of consumer electronics in the world. The company, who were founded by Ronald Wayne, Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs operate from 'Apple Campus' in their California headquarters and have over 450 retail stores in over 15 countries in the world.

Their range of products include software such as iTunes, iLife, Safari and iWork. Upgraded versions of this software appear regularly, which helps them to continue capturing attention of consumers who own a range of hardware products that use the software. These products include the iPad, the iMac, the iPhone and the iPod - products which, once more, are upgraded on a regular basis.

Each time Apple release their latest piece of hardware, the older devices subsequently reduce in value. Products such as the iPad 2 mini will continue to decrease in value as time goes on. However, unbeknown to many consumers, there are still a long list of people who are willing to pay a fantastic price for the iPad 2 mini. If you have one, and are looking to sell, OnRecycle can help.

What OnRecycle Do

We act as a middle-man between sellers of the iPad 2 mini and potential buyers. We have spent years building relationships with some of the biggest online recyclers in the world so that customers can gain access to those willing to pay them a fantastic price for their unwanted devices. In much the same way as a price comparison system works, we provide you with the information that you need, in just a couple of minutes. Using OnRecycle is incredibly easy: even the most non-technical users are confident finding a price for their iPad 2 mini.

The OnRecycle System

When you log on to the OnRecycle website, you will notice a search box that appears at the top of each page. Type the product that you are selling (iPad 2 mini) into that box, and a list of related devices will appear in a dropdown box, complete with corresponding images. Select the one that most closely resembles your iPad 2 mini, and you are ready to begin!

The next part of the process is to tell us more about your specific iPad 2 mini. In order to obtain the most accurate quotations, we need to know the device's condition (either working, broken or new) and the version you are selling (16, 32, 64 or 128 GB). Once we have these details, we are ready to give you your quotations!

As the screen refreshes, you will see a table that shows which recyclers are willing to buy your iPad 2 mini from you, and for how much. There is also a series of additional data which is there to help you make a decision on who to sell to.

When you are choosing the recycler for you, we suggest that you ask yourself a few questions - to ensure that you give yourself the best chance of having a positive sales experience. Firstly, you need to know whether the recycler you are selling to can be trusted. Have you heard of them before? Do they have a good star rating under the 'user rating' column? Have you read some of the reviews left by customers who were once in a similar position to you? Choosing a recycler with a good reputation will ensure that you sell to a company who will fulfil their financial obligations to you.

We also suggest that you ask yourself how quickly you need the money, and in what form. The information to look at here are the 'payment methods' and 'payment period' fields. Are you looking for urgent payment? Do you want an internet payment, or will you accept a cheque? These questions will be answered differently by consumers, depending on their priorities and circumstances.

Once you have chosen a recycler, you are ready to complete the sale of your iPad 2 mini. Click on the 'sell now' button and you will be taken through the remaining steps. You may be given the option to sell your iPad 2 mini through OnRecycle. If so, we suggest that you do this as you will benefit from our expert advice and guidance, whilst paying through a safe and secure system. OnRecycle are here to help, through every step of the process!

Having sold your iPad 2 mini, you may now be looking to find your next gadget. When shopping, it can be useful to know the spec of the iPad 2 mini, so that you have something to compare potential purchases with. Read our review to learn more details.

iPad 2 Mini

The iPad 2 mini was released by Apple in 2013. As the name suggests, it is a smaller version of the standard iPad model, with dimensions of 200 x 134.7 x 7.5 mm. It weighs just 331 grams, which makes it comfortable to use and operate, whilst being small and light enough to transport around.

Although it is smaller, the spec of the iPad 2 mini is still very high-tech. The screen has a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels which matches the standard iPad 3 released in 2012. The display has an LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and measures 7.9 inches.

The iPad 2 mini can be purchased either as a 16, 32, 64 or 128 GB model and each one is supported by 1 GB of RAM. It comes with the iOS operating system - starting at iOS 7 but this is upgradeable to 10.3.

The iPad 2 mini has a 5 megapixel camera, with a 1.2 megapixel secondary lens. It comes with a whole range of other features typical to Apple, such as Siri voice activation, iCloud functionality, MP3 and MP4 file capability and lots more. It is available to buy in either space grey/black or silver/white.
