Selling your Samsung Galaxy S7

Released into the European marketplace in March 2016, the Samsung Galaxy S7 (and the 'Edge' variant) is the latest in the long line of android smartphones produced by Samsung Electronics. If you are considering selling your existing model, the price that you may be able to receive for your device may never be higher. You may, perhaps, be saving up for the S8 when it is released later this year? Or, perhaps you tried the S7 as an alternative to an iPhone, but just cannot live without the Apple product any longer? Alternatively, you might just be in need of some extra cash and the S7 is one of your luxury items you are considering downgrading, or selling to raise some money? Whatever your reason, OnRecycle are here to help you along every step of the way.

What We Do

Freecycle's website requires you to enter the details of your device into a search bar at the top of the page. Once you have done this, a list of devices appears and you can select yours from the options available. Once you have clicked on your phone, you then go onto a new screen where you can choose the phone's condition (new, broken or working) and then the phone version (either 32 or 64 GB for the S7) Don't forget to also change the filter to say if your phone is locked with a specific network. Having done this, a list of suppliers is presented to you, with the ones recommended by OnRecycle at the top.

At this stage, we recommend to customers that they consider a range of factors rather than simply the buyer who offers you the largest price. Some buyers delay making payment, or will pay using a method unsatisfactory to your purpose. We also recommend checking the star rating scale for each supplier, and reading reviews where available, to ensure that you don't end up doing business with a provider who is unreliable.

Having chosen the buyer, simply click on the 'sell now' button, and you will be directed to the screen where you can sell your phone. Some buyers require you to deal with them directly, whereas others allow you the option to go through OnRecycle's secure payment system. If you are able to do this, you will also receive OnRecycle's support through every step of the sales journey.

About OnRecycle

OnRecycle are experts in the e-commerce industry, and have experience of being in the marketplace for over 6 years. The relationships that we have formed and maintained with some of the key recyclers in the industry have enabled us to provide consumers with a large database of suppliers who are keen to take your S7 from you, giving you a nice sum of money in return! We believe in making things as easy as possible for all of our consumers, and, therefore, our easy to use website gives you a potential price for your device in a matter of seconds. Similar to some of the popular price comparison websites that can be found online, our search facility compares the costs from a range of potential buyers instantly, leaving you with the option to filter the results to suit your requirements. For example, if you want to find a supplier who will pay you on the same day, you can do so from the search tool. Where we stand out from the other price comparison websites, however, is our recognition of what annoys our customers. To obtain a quote, you do not need to enter any personal details or set up an account with a password. This makes it easy for you to get a quote, and removes the hassle of receiving hundreds of emails in your inbox, which are likely to be moved to the 'trash' folder!

The Samsung Galaxy S7

The S7 is an Android smartphone, produced by Samsung Electronics. It is a successor to the 2015 model (the S6), having been released a year later in Europe, during March 2016. The S7 included many improvements from the S6 model, including the model being water and dust-resistant. Clearly Samsung had considered the problems that phone users face as once a phone enters water, it is often irreparable! Another one of the major improvements from the S6 is the phone's camera quality.

The standard version of the S7 is 5.1 inches long, whereas the Edge version is 5.5 inches long. The Edge is curved along the wide sides of the screen. This makes it comfortable to hold, and attractive to look at. The phone comes in black and gold, but there are also versions of the phone which are white, pink, silver and light blue (since October 2016), which tailors the model to the tastes and requirements of individual users.

As with many of the Samsung Galaxy smartphones, the S7 has a facility to expand storage via a Micro USB card. This, of course, only applies, if the phone's storage of either 32 or 64 GB is not sufficient for your purpose! Having such a range of storage options for smartphones provides users with the opportunity to transfer data quickly and easily.

The S7's battery is larger than the S6 and the phone's 'proximity sensor' switches off the phone if it recognises that the phone is not in use (for example, if it is tucked away in your pocket). This saves battery consumption. The phone also a wireless charging facility allowing you to charge your phone whilst operating it more easily.

As the mobile phone market is liable to change so rapidly (in accordance with technology and consumer demands), now might be the time for you to get the best price for your Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone. Even if you have not yet made the decision to sell, why not find out how much you could receive by using OnRecycle's efficient price comparison service. You can then be assured that if you do want to go ahead and sell your smartphone, we will be with you to assist during the process.
